  "Description": "We included functions to assess the performance of risk\nmodels. The package contains functions for the various measures\nthat are used in empirical studies, including univariate and\nmultivariate odds ratios (OR) of the predictors, the\nc-statistic (or area under the receiver operating\ncharacteristic (ROC) curve (AUC)), Hosmer-Lemeshow goodness of\nfit test, reclassification table, net reclassification\nimprovement (NRI) and integrated discrimination improvement\n(IDI). Also included are functions to create plots, such as\nrisk distributions, ROC curves, calibration plot,\ndiscrimination box plot and predictiveness curves. In addition\nto functions to assess the performance of risk models, the\npackage includes functions to obtain weighted and unweighted\nrisk scores as well as predicted risks using logistic\nregression analysis. These logistic regression functions are\nspecifically written for models that include genetic variables,\nbut they can also be applied to models that are based on\nnon-genetic risk factors only. Finally, the package includes\nfunction to construct a simulated dataset with genotypes,\ngenetic risks, and disease status for a hypothetical\npopulation, which is used for the evaluation of genetic risk\nmodels.",
